LUFKIN, Texas — Brookshire Brothers here said has named Clay Oliver as its new chief financial officer and promoted five other executives at the company.

Oliver, who joined Brookshire Brothers in 2004 and had been head of the treasury department, succeeds Donny Johnson, who left Brookshire Brothers in 2007.

Keith Williams, who joined Brookshire Brothers in 2007 when the company acquired Polk Oil, was named vice president of petroleum and convenience store operations.

Jessica Brown was named vice president of accounting. She had been accounting director and has been with the company since 1999.

The company also named Jule Tatum Fenley as general counsel; Fenley had been corporate counsel since 2007.

Bryan Tyler, previously an auditor, was named director of treasury; and Greg Huggins, also previously an auditor, was named director of internal audit.

Brookshire Brothers operates 72 supermarkets and 30 Polk Pick-It-Up convenience stores. the company, according to local reports.
