Cline Joins Weis in Training/Development

SUNBURY, Pa. — Robert Cline has joined Weis Markets as director of training and organizational development, the retailer said here Tuesday.

In this newly created position, Cline will be responsible for training and development, succession planning, performance management, career planning and other management initiatives designed to improve the company’s performance. Cline reports to Jim Marcil, senior vice president, human resources.

Prior to joining Weis, Cline was a senior human resources executive at Staples. He previously worked at CVS Pharmacy where he held various positions including area human resources director and as director of employee/labor relations.
