Daymon hires Kavanagh, Berry

Daymon Worldwide has appointed Ross Kavanagh to the newly created position of chief sourcing and trading Officer, and David Berry has been named CIO.

In his new role, Kavanagh is charged with leading Daymon’s global trading businesses to offer new levels of service to retailer and supplier partners. He will oversee global sourcing and quality assurance.

Kavanagh has four decades of global industry experience, and most recently spent six years at Office Depot Europe, with the last three as VP of procurement, supply chain and merchandising. He has also held leadership roles with Chapman Envelopes, Paragon and Print Search, and spent seven years leading his own consulting practice.

David Berry

As CIO, Berry will use his background in retail and information technology for global companies, to elevate and expand Daymon’s technology capabilities for clients and associates.

Berry has worked as interim CIO for Polycom, smartShift, Toms Shoes and Ascena retail group. He also served as VP of Worldwide Information Services at The Haagen-Dazs Co.; VP of European Information Services and Business Processes for GrandMet Foods Europe; and SVP and CIO of Burger King Corp.
