Former Acosta Executive Joins Daymon Subsidiary

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Interactions, the Daymon Worldwide subsidiary that provides product demos and event marketing, said it has named former Acosta Sales & Marketing executive Jerry Slater as vice president of operations.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Interactions, the Daymon Worldwide subsidiary that provides product demos and event marketing, said it has named former Acosta Sales & Marketing executive Jerry Slater as vice president of operations.

Slater will lead Elite Marketing Interactions, the company’s in-house group dedicated exclusively to Meijer here.

Slater is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and will be based here.

Slater joins Interactions with more than 28 years of grocery industry experience. Prior to joining Interactions, he spent 14 years at Acosta Sales & Marketing, where he most recently served as National Client Services Director, responsible for managing six key clients within the Fresh Foods Division, including Sabra Dipping Company, Growth Ventures/Frito-Lay, Butterball, Heinz Deli, Michael Foods and GoodHeart.
