ROCKVILLE, Md. — Mike Jackson, the former longtime Supervalu executive who left the company in 2009, has joined iControl Systems USA here as a director and as a senior advisor to the technology and logistics firm's president and chief executive officer, Tal J. Zlotnitsky.
"I'm very excited to be joining the board of a dynamic retail support company like iControl," said Jackson in a prepared statement, citing the company's "ground-breaking approaches" to collaboration between DSD suppliers and retailers.
Jackson is a consultant with MLJ Consulting. He spent 30 years at Minneapolis-based Supervalu before retiring in 2009.
