PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Kings Super Markets has named Bill Hedge director of prepared foods, a newly created position.

Hedge, with 25 years of culinary and catering experience, most recently was regional executive chef with Restaurant Associates, helping to run foodservice operations at Citigroup in New York City.

At 24-unit Kings, Hedge will report directly to Rich Durante, Kings’ executive vice president, merchandising/operations.

Kings is an upscale supermarket chain, with stores in northern New Jersey and Long Island, N.Y.
