NGA Elects 7 New Board Members

LAS VEGAS — The National Grocers Association elected seven new members to its board of directors during its annual convention here. Three new retail board members are Spencer Coates, president, Houchens Industries; Richard McMenamin, president, McMenamin Family ShopRite; and Cheryl Sommer, president, Kaune's Neighborhood Market.

LAS VEGAS — The National Grocers Association elected seven new members to its board of directors during its annual convention here.

Three new retail board members are Spencer Coates, president, Houchens Industries; Richard McMenamin, president, McMenamin Family ShopRite; and Cheryl Sommer, president, Kaune's Neighborhood Market.

New wholesalers elected to the board are Bill Donahoe, president and chief operating officer, Foodtown; and Richard Wyckoff, executive vice president, sales and marketing, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Keene, N.H.

One new state association executive was elected to the board: Brandon Scholz, president and chief executive officer, Wisconsin Grocers Association; and one new manufacturer was elected: Steve Latham, senior vice president, strategic alliance accounts, food and drug, for First Data Corp.
