The room was bustling at the 21st annual Friends Dinner, hosted at FMI Midwinter’s recent conference in Orlando, Fla. It was an “at capacity” event. Over the years, some $1.3 million has been donated to charities designated by attending retailers.

The Friends event, known among retailers as the industry’s “executive reunion,” each year honors industry players announcing their retirement. Multiple retiring industry leaders were honored: click through the slideshow to see the highlights.
