Fero has been VP, distribution, for the 167-store chain since 2011.
He joined Stater in 1981 as a marker in the distribution center and became an order selector later that year. He became a forklift receiver in 1984, foreman of the distribution center in 1986, supervisor in 1988, director of dry distribution in 2000 and senior direct of distribution in 2010.
