Topco Names Goers VP, National Brands

SKOKIE, Ill. — Private-label cooperative Topco Associates here said Wednesday it has named James Goers vice president, national brands.

SKOKIE, Ill. — Private-label cooperative Topco Associates here said Wednesday it has named James Goers vice president, national brands.

Goers most recently was senior vice president and general manager for the Northwest region at snack maker Hostess Brands. Prior to Hostess, he spent 10 years Kraft Foods in a variety of positions, and before that he spent 10 years with Frito-Lay.

At Topco, Goers will report to Randy Skoda, executive vice president. "Jim brings a tremendous amount of experience and energy to his new position," said Skoda. "We look forward to leveraging Jim's significant industry experience and relationships to work with our manufacturer partners and Topco's member/owners to drive value and significantly increase the scope and breadth of Topco's National Brands program."
