Acosta Buys Two More Foodservice Agencies

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Acosta Sales & Marketing here said it has acquired two more foodservice brokers — Bay Brokerage Co. and Encore Sales & Marketing, extending the company’s foodservice coverage to the West Coast.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Acosta Sales & Marketing here said it has acquired two more foodservice brokers — Bay Brokerage Co. and Encore Sales & Marketing, extending the company’s foodservice coverage to the West Coast.

Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

Bay Brokerage has operations in Nevada and Northern California, and Encore Sales & Marketing operates in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii.

“We are pleased to announce that our footprint in the foodservice industry continues to grow with the addition of these agencies,” said Mark Hayden, Acosta’s foodservice division president. “Each of these companies possesses both the market leadership and talent needed to bolster our services in this arena and help us continue to build the leading foodservice agency platform in the U.S.”
