Blischok Joins Consulting Firm

SAN FRANCISCO — Longtime SymphonyIRI Group executive Thomas J. Blischok has joined management consulting firm Booz & Co. in its office here, Booz was expected to announce today.

He spent the last eight years as president of retail and president of globalstrategy and Innovation at SymphonyIRI, which is based in Chicago. Before that, he was chairman and chief executive officer of his own strategic technology consulting firm, MindMeld, after previous stints at Equifax, Knowledge Engineering Group, AT&T Global Information Systems, and Coopers & Lybrand.

“Thom Blischok is a recognized expert in the grocery, drug and mass retailing space, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have him on our team,” said Les Moeller, senior partner at Booz & Co. “His experience in designing, developing and implementing organizational, operational and technology strategies and capabilities for global retailers complement and expand our strong offerings in these markets.”

At Booz, Blischok will focus on the firm’s retail and CPG clients.
