ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Coborn’s Inc. here on Thursday said it will promote four of its executives on Jan. 1: District Managers Dave Meyer, Bruce Miller and Rick Parker and Marketing Director Dennis Host.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Coborn’s Inc. here on Thursday said it will promote four of its executives on Jan. 1: District Managers Dave Meyer, Bruce Miller and Rick Parker and Marketing Director Dennis Host.

Meyer will be promoted to vice president of operations; Miller will be promoted to vice president of Coborn’s Stores; Parker will be promoted to vice president of Cash Wise Stores; and Host will be promoted to vice president of marketing.

Meyer will oversee the non-supermarket operations of the company, including Tops dry cleaning, pharmacy, liquor, convenience, CobornsDelivers, transportation/warehouse, workforce management and food safety. Miller will oversee all the Coborn’s stores and Save-A-Lot. Parker will oversee all the Cash Wise stores and Ace Hardware stores. Host will continue to oversee the marketing department “in strategically adapting to the fast-changing mediums and formats for marketing to customers,” the company said.

“Our board of directors has great confidence in our current executive and operations leadership teams,” said Chris Coborn, president and chief executive officer. “Instead of refilling the COO role when Bob Thueringer retires this summer, we are pleased to promote District Managers Dave Meyer, Bruce Miller and Rick Parker to the positions of Vice President to run the three different aspects of operations.”

Through these promotions Coborn’s will strive to improve communication and streamline efforts among the retail divisions and support the company’s continued growth, the company said.
