Food Lion will close three stores in the greater Raleigh, N.C., market, Delhaize America officials told SN Friday.

All three stores set for closure — in Dunn, Fayetteville and Goldsboro, N.C. — were underperforming locations with expiring leases. The Dunn and Fayetteville stores will close on on before April 22. The Goldsboro store is set for closure in August.

Employees at all three locations will be offered positions at other Food Lion stores in the Raleigh market where Delhaize is renovating all 160 of its stores.
