Grace’s Marketplace, the New York-based family-owned and operated specialty food retailer, on Tuesday reopened its Upper East Side store in a new location.

The new store offers a larger open floor plan, with modern and rustic elements in a light-filled and airy 7,700 square feet of retail space. The lower level will be used for storage, operations and a state-of-the-art kitchen for catering and prepared foods, the company said. Grace’s will continue to provide a wide range of premium Italian and Mediterranean products, gourmet items, the high-quality meat, seafood, cheese, produce, bread and desserts, the company said. New to the location are a made-to-order salad bar, a Panini station, an expanded Tavola section and a European style espresso bar with a variety of fresh baked goods and customer seating. “We’re beyond excited to launch the new Grace’s Marketplace," said Grace Balducci Doria, the company’s founder. “This has been quite a year, with many changes for our family and business, and we’re really looking forward to this new chapter. It’s been a pleasure serving the Manhattan community and being a part of the Upper East Side neighborhood for so long, and we feel lucky that we can continue and now offer even more quality foods and services to our customers.”
