HATTERSLEY IN CHARGE OF FINANCE AT MILLER

MILWAUKEE -- Miller Brewing Co. here has named Gavin Hattersley vice president, finance.

subsidiary of SABMiller plc., since 1997 in a number of senior financial positions, most recently as finance director.

A qualified accountant in South Africa, Hattersley was born and brought up in Zambia and graduated from the University of South Africa in 1986. Prior to joining SAB, he worked for Barloworld Limited, a major South African conglomerate, becoming finance director for a number of the group's subsidiaries.

"I'm pleased with the addition of Gavin Hattersley to our management team," said Miller's President and CEO John Bowlin. "With his expertise and background at SAB, Gavin will be an enormous help in efficiently integrating our financial systems and processes."

Hattersley will report directly to Bowlin, and he and his family will be relocating to Milwaukee.
