Ingles Markets has sold a shopping center in Alpharetta, Ga., for $14 million, the retailer said in a government filing.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Ingles Markets has sold a shopping center in Alpharetta, Ga., for $14 million, the retailer here said in a government filing. The center was the site of an Ingles Market store that closed in December, the company said. Ingles will realize a gain on the sale of $7.9 million. Following the sale, the company owns 73 shopping centers, 55 of which contain in Ingles store.
