CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Services were held here last week for James Forkin, a longtime grocery industry executive, who died at age 80 following multiple strokes. Forkin, a onetime grocery store owner and former vice president of sales at Sara Lee Corp., founded Cleveland food brokerage firm Buckeye Sales & Marketing in 1975. Starting the brokerage with just the Sara Lee line, Buckeye Sales grew to become a nationally recognized brokerage firm. He retired in 2000 and is survived by wife Joan, six children and 12 grandchildren.
