TOLEDO, Ohio — Kroger workers here were scheduled to vote on the ratification of a new contract here yesterday to replace one that expired April 7. United Food and Commercial Workers Local 911, representing about 2,300 workers, had been wrangling with the Cincinnati-based chain over health care, pension, wages and work rules.
