LONDON - Consumers will continue to gravitate toward all-natural and sustainably made products next year, according to the Mintel‘s Global New Product Database. The international market research firm expects retailers to see growing demand for fair-trade goods, all-natural cosmetics, refillable packaging and exotic “superfoods” sourced from the Amazonian rainforest. "We're talking about trends, not fads here, so we predict that all of these developments will be around for some time to come," David Jago, director of GNPD custom solutions at Mintel, said in a release summarizing the report.
