Peapod/Stop & Shop Expands Service on Long Island

Internet grocer Peapod by Stop & Shop said Tuesday that it has opened a third facility on Long Island that extends its grocery delivery capabilities to customers throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties and to new locations in New York City’s borough of Queens.

BRAINTREE, Mass. — Internet grocer Peapod by Stop & Shop here said Tuesday that it has opened a third facility on Long Island that extends its grocery delivery capabilities to customers throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties and to new locations in New York City’s borough of Queens. Peapod and Stop & Shop, both divisions of Amsterdam-based Ahold, can now service almost all ZIP codes in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and in several areas of Queens.
