CALVERTON, N.Y. — Services are scheduled here today for former industry trade publisher Peter Ephraim, who died at his home this month in Glen Cove, N.Y., according to trade reports. Ephraim, who worked in sales at SN in the late 1990s, was named publisher of industry publication Non-Foods Merchandising in 1975 and later joined Progressive Grocer, where he was director of ad sales and focused on nonfood categories. He is survived by his wife, Ursala; a sister; four children; and seven grandchildren.
