Trade spending remains considerable, nearly $200 billion at last count. But what impact does it have? On shoppers? Store loyalty? Supplier/retailer relationships?

Since 1995, Kantar Retail, the retail and shopper specialists, has been conducting its “Trade Promotion Industry Benchmarking Study,” and Kantar would like to invite SN's readers to participate.

The study is designed to identify current trends and emerging best practices from both a retailer and manufacturer perspective. Kantar Retail values your contribution to this study and your input will be kept completely confidential. Supermarket News will report on the findings.

The survey takes 8-10 minutes to complete and can be accessed here.

To thank you for participating in this study, Kantar Retail will send you a complimentary copy of the final report for completing the survey.

Kantar Retail and Supermarket News thank you in advance for your participation.

Who should participate?

Retailers: Buying, Merchandising, Store Brand Management, Marketing, Pricing, Others Who Regularly Partner with Suppliers

Manufacturers: Sales, Category Management, Trade Promotion, Marketing, Sales Finance/Planning, Shopper Marketing
