Roche Bros. has agreed to pay its employees more than $283,000 in back wages after a U.S. Department of Labor investigation, published reports said.

WELLESLY, Mass. — Roche Bros. here has agreed to pay its employees more than $283,000 in back wages after a U.S. Department of Labor investigation, published reports said. The investigation found that 17 Roche Bros. markets failed to pay overtime wages to some employees over 2005 and 2006, according to the Associated Press. The chain cooperated with investigators after Roche Bros. executives were alerted to the investigation. Around 687 employees would share in the settlement, the report added.
