WAUKESHA, Wis. -- BKT Enterprises here, an operator of three area Sentry stores, has purchased two Jewel-Osco stores from Supervalu, and will reopen them under the Sentry banner this spring, reports said. Terms were not disclosed. The stores were among the 15 Jewel locations being marketed by Supervalu, which said last month it would exit the greater Milwaukee area. Nine stores have been sold, with Milwaukee-based retailers Roundy‘s acquiring five and Lena‘s Food Market buying two. Jewel stores that are not sold may close beginning March 23, said the report in Milwaukee Business Journal, citing state filings.
