Shop n’ Save this week launched a new mobile application allowing its shoppers in St. Louis to use digital coupons and other convenient features.
Shop & Save is a division of Minneapolis-based Supervalu.
Among the app’s highlights is the ability for customers to eliminate coupon-clipping through the use of new digital coupons. The app also enables shoppers to browse weekly ads, refill pharmacy prescriptions and build customized shopping lists from their favorite mobile device.
“We’re excited to enhance the Shop n’ Save shopping experience with our new mobile app,” president Eric Hymas said. “This convenient, easy-to-use app will provide our valued customers with an easy new way to save on affordable, quality foods, whether they’re planning their grocery list at home or using the app on the go.”
The app and digital coupon features are available for mobile devices compatible with Apple iOS and Android operating systems. To take advantage of digital savings, customers can sign in on the app home screen through Facebook or by creating an account with their preferred email address.

Customers will be able to create a new “Digital Cardless ID” during sign-up and load coupons directly to their account. Preloaded coupons will automatically apply to their purchase by entering their ID number at the register, saving time for customers who previously scanned paper coupons one by one.
Shop n’ Save’s introduction of the mobile app aligns with other recent efforts to provide customers with a better in-store experience, the company said. This week, the company also announced it was lowering everyday prices on all items throughout its produce departments. New yellow sale signs will identify discounted items.
