SuperFresh Marks 25th Anniversary This Week

MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P this weekend will hold a three-day celebration marking the 25th anniversary of its SuperFresh banner. From Friday through Sunday, shoppers at the 75-store chain, with stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., will receive a complimentary birthday cupcake, free product samples and other giveaways, according to A&P. SuperFresh was created as the result of an agreement between organized labor and A&P to revamp faltering A&P banner stores in the Philadelphia region.
