MINNEAPOLIS -- Supervalu here said it plans to begin closing 10 of its 15 Jewel-Osco locations in the Milwaukee area beginning March 23, though talks with potential buyers are ongoing. As previously reported, Supervalu is in negotiations with Milwaukee-based Roundy's Supermarkets to sell the chain the other five stores. The decision to close the 10 stores came after a thorough business analysis, a Supervalu spokeswoman told SN. Of the 10 stores, three are in Milwaukee and the rest are single units in Racine, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Franklin, Germantown, Greenfield and Kenosha. -- Elliot Zwiebach
