BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Mark Goodman, executive vice president of marketing, membership and e-commerce at Sam‘s Club here, has left the Wal-Mart-owned chain “to pursue other interests,” a Wal-Mart spokeswoman told SN. Goodman, formerly with McDonald‘s Corp., was Sam‘s top marketing executive. “During Mark's time with Sam's Club, he contributed important new ideas to our marketing efforts and has helped move us toward becoming a more member-driven organization,” the spokeswoman said in a prepared statement. His departure follows shortly after Wal-Mart recently let go another top marketing executive, Julie Roehm.
