MARYSVILLE, Ohio — Kroger Co.’s Turkey Hill convenience-store division will celebrate the chain’s newest and largest store at an event here Sept. 27.

The 6,000-square-foot store, operating under a food-focused format the company is calling Turkey Hill Market, will host giveaways and a live radio broadcast.

The store is 75% larger than the chain’s typical 4,000-square-foot store, and features a wider variety of grocery items including fresh food and a new foodservice menu featuring fried chicken, pizza and bistro-style sandwiches. It opened for the first time on Sept. 12.
