RALEIGH, N.C. — A two-level Harris Teeter grocery store is scheduled to open Wednesday as part of a new mixed-use project here.
The store is part of the Park & Market project, a 900,000-square-foot retail and residential project built near the site of a former enclosed shopping mall in Raleigh’s North Hill’s district.
The 48,000-square-foot store will resemble similar two-story Harris Teeter designs in Washington, D.C. Residents of the six-story apartment complex will have in-building access to the new store, which replaces a 26,000-square-foot Harris Teeter which closed on Tuesday. The new store features service seafood, a variety of specialty and international foods, prepared meals, and hot foods including pizza and Asian specialties.
Harris Teeter is a division of Ruddick Corp., Charlotte, N.C.
