Website Lists Unaffected Pistachio Brands

Western Pistachio Association in conjunction with the Cal-Pure co-op of California has created a consumer website at www.pistachiorecall.org that lists brands that do not contain pistachio products from Setton Pistachio, the Terra Bella, Calif.-based company that initiated a voluntary recall due to potential Salmonella contamination.

FRESNO, Calif. — Western Pistachio Association here in conjunction with the Cal-Pure co-op of California has created a consumer website at www.pistachiorecall.org that lists brands that do not contain pistachio products from Setton Pistachio, the Terra Bella, Calif.-based company that initiated a voluntary recall due to potential Salmonella contamination.

A&P Growers, Eden Organics and Southern Grove are among the more than 50 unaffected brands listed on the site.

Meanwhile, close to 150 pistachio products have been added to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s list of recalled items.
