As Amazon Fresh continues its nationwide expansion, the retailer opened a new store in Warrington, Pa., on Aug. 5. A day later, Amazon announced it would open a second location in its hometown of Seattle on Aug. 12. The Warrington location is the first Amazon Fresh store to open in the Keystone State. The new stores will bring the total number of Amazon Fresh locations in the country to 17.
The new stores feature many of the same Amazon Fresh signature deals, including 15-cent bananas, $1.79 freshly baked pizza slices and $4.97 rotisserie chickens. Both stores also offer local items unique to the area, as well as Amazon Fresh’s trademark “seamless grocery shopping experience,” which includes free, same-day delivery and pickup for Prime members; the Amazon Dash Cart; and Alexa-assisted shopping.
“Customers shopping at the store will find low prices, a broad selection of high-quality food and convenient, innovative shopping features,” said Ron Marra, store manager for Amazon Fresh Warrington, in a release. “I’m also proud that this store has created hundreds of good jobs with benefits locally.”
