TROY, Ohio -- Hobart Corp. will now identify its Adamatic bakery equipment line for the retail baking industry as Hobart Bakery Systems. For the wholesale bakery industry, the Adamatic name will be retained "because the wholesale segment of the industry has been familiar with the name for years," Bill Lohrer, Hobart advertising manager, told SN.

ned its bakery equipment sales staff at the Adamatic educational facility in Eatontown, N.J. That facility, like the equipment, will now carry the name Hobart Bakery Systems. "Five years ago, Hobart made a strong commitment to the baking industry [with the acquisition of Adamatic]," said David R. Casto, vice president of Hobart food retail U.S. sales and field operations, in a prepared statement. More closely aligning Hobart's name with the equipment underscores that earlier commitment, Lohrer said.
