Ahold Delhaize USA’s Digital Backbone Names Ian Prisuta as SVP of Private Brands
Brings more than two decades of industry experience to Peapod Digital Labs. Prisuta brings more than two decades of industry experience, including at retailer Giant Eagle, to Peapod Digital Labs.

Peapod Digital Labs, the digital backbone that supports Ahold Delhaize USA’s retail brands, named Ian Prisuta as SVP of private brands, the company said Feb. 8.
Prisuta brings more than two decades of industry experience, including 20 years at retailer Giant Eagle. Peapod Digital Labs in a statement highlighted his “deep knowledge of merchandising, category planning and strategic development,” and added, “he is an accomplished business executive with extensive experience leading transformations across multiple areas within the retail supermarket business.”

Most recently, Prisuta worked as a senior adviser for Boston Consulting Group. In his new role, he will lead the team responsible for delivering a full suite of private brands services from new product development to innovation, product packaging and design, quality, product integrity and sustainability to the local brands of Ahold Delhaize USA.

Prisuta, who has a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, said in a statement he is “excited to join the team and continue my career in such a dynamic part of the retail industry.”
Peapod Digital Labs, which aims to provide a better omnichannel experience for Ahold Delhaize USA shoppers, recently partnered with ECRM RangeMe to find certified, diverse-owned businesses to showcase their products, with the first scheduled event March 14-18.
