Hy-Vee announced it will open a new store in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. The store is set to debut Nov. 8, with a similar format as the grocer's new, “reimagined” store in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

“Our new store will give you many reasons to visit, including a Wahlburgers restaurant, HyChi Chinese food, Top Quality Meats and Seafood, Mia Italian, Fresh Produce, Nori Sushi and nd so much more! Our helpful smiles and competitive prices will make Hy-Vee your new favorite place to shop,” said Mike Landuyt, store director, in a statement.

Located at 2395 S. Oneida St. Suite 100 in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, the new store will be Hy-Vee’s sixth Wisconsin location, and its fifth state-of-the-art location. Hy-Vee’s reimagined stores feature new layouts and new technology.

In La Crosse,  the new Hy-Vee features all-digital shelf labels that display product information and pricing. Hy-vee products, promotions and services are featured on the more than 100 TVs at the store, and digital kiosks are available for customers to order cakes and prepared foods. The new mobile payment technology with Hy-Vee Scan & Go is also a part of the company’s reimagined format, as well as self-checkout options for a fast, convenient shopping experience, said the company in a release. As with the Ashwaubenon store, the La Crosse store also features mealtime offerings like Mia Italian, HyChi, Nori Sushi and a Wahlburgers.

Additionally, the new Hy-Vee store will provide the Ashwaubenon community with local jobs. Hy-Vee employees have access to employee benefits such as a 10% employee discount on groceries every day, employee appreciation bonuses, holiday pay, free Hy-Vee Plus membership, a tuition assistance program for employees and family members, and employer-sponsored insurance for both full- and part-time employees, according to the company.

West Des Moines, Iowa-based Hy-Vee, Inc. is an employee-owned corporation that operates more than 285 retail stores across eight Midwestern states.
