Westborough, Mass. -based retailer BJ’s Wholesale will open its newest club in South Fayette Township, Pa., Dec. 10. Heralded as the first club in the Pittsburgh market, executives see this as an opportunity to expand in the Keystone State.

“We’re excited to open our very first club in the Pittsburgh market, expanding our footprint in Pennsylvania,” said Malika Harris, club manager of BJ’s Wholesale Club in Bridgeville.

BJ’s is set to boast 18 locations in the state of Pennsylvania and Harris said that they are excited for “our doors to open and serve our members and community, especially during the busy holiday season.”

The new club is located at 4000 Victoria Street in Bridgeville and will be the retailer’s 223rd location. It will feature fresh foods and produce, a full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies as well as the retailer’s signature treasure-hunt experience for BJ’s members. The location will offer curbside pickup, pick up in-club and same-day delivery.

The club opening follows the same location for BJ’s newest fueling facility, which also opened in South Fayette earlier this month, marking the company's 153rd gas station.
