GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — D&W Fresh Market is promoting its Top Care private-label vitamins with an online tool that matches the right vitamin with specific lifestyles or health conditions.

The Top Care Vitamin Finder, found on a link on the retailer's home page, involves a five-minute online health survey of the person's age, health history and eating habits. The recommendations from the survey determine which vitamin supplements are best for each person's individual lifestyle and personal needs.

Depending on the person's responses, the personalized vitamin recommendation may suggest anything from Top Care Century Ultimate Men's Multivitamins to Top Care Vitamin B-Complex with Vitamin C.

A free service of grocery distributor Spartan Stores, Grand Rapids, Mich., Vitamin Finder's recommendations have been approved by health professionals at the University of Illinois and are based on a conservative subset of 25 clinically supportive and science-based supplements.

Stater Bros. Markets, San Bernardino, Calif., is among other retailers also using the Vitamin Finder.
