Aldi is feeling the #ALDILove, and wants to return it by giving a couple the chance to walk down the “aisle” and get married in its first-ever wedding, the retailer announced Wednesday.

The company is encouraging couples to enter the Happily Ever Aldi contest for an opportunity to win an Aldi-inspired wedding at its Aldi Insights Center in Batavia, Illinois. That's the model market at its U.S. corporate headquarters.

The wedding party will get a behind-the-scenes look at Aldi HQ, which the compapny is transforming to be wedding-ready for the event, which will be officiated by an Aldi employee.

Aldi is a grocery company with strong brand loyalty, with shoppers regularly tagging the retailer on social media in Aldi-themed marriage proposals, engagement photos, birthdays and baby showers, using the #ALDILove hashtag.

“Every time our shoppers include us in one of their big moments, we feel the #ALDILove," Kate Kirkpatrick, Aldi USA's director of communications, said in a statement. "We’re showing our #ALDILove in return by giving one crazy-in-love-with-ALDI couple an opportunity to celebrate the ultimate life milestone with us.”

In addition to throwing the winning couple an Aldi-inspired wedding “on one very special Wednesday,” the retailer said, the couple will receive travel accommodations, hair and makeup for the wedding day, a "romantic" photoshoot in front of the store, a professional photographer to capture “once-in-a-lifetime photos walking down the Aldi aisle,” and a reception for up to 50 guests. The reception will feature Aldi food and beverages, a branded tiered wedding cake baked with the chain's private label Baker’s Corner ingredients, appetizers such as Red Bag Chicken sliders, and custom wedding favors. To top it off, Aldi will gift the newlyweds with $5,000 in groceries for a year.

Interested couples can visit Happily Ever Aldi through August 17 to submit and essay for a chance to win.
