Dollar General Names Jennifer Beugelmans VP of Investor, Public Relations

Jennifer Beugelmans has joined Dollar General as its new VP of investor relations and public relations. Most recently serving as VP of investor relations for Etsy Inc., Beugelmans will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of corporate communications and community initiative functions for the Goodlettsville, Tenn.-based retailer.

In a statement, John Garratt, Dollar General’s EVP and CFO, said Beugelmans’ broad experience and proven track record will support Dollar General’s investor relations program and related initiatives to “further our position as a leader in our sector.”

While with Etsy, Beugelmans was responsible for establishing a successful investor relations team following the company’s initial public offering in 2015. Also, she previously was Etsy’s VP of financial planning and analysis and interim VP of communications.  Her experience also includes leadership roles at Joele Frank, Pure Communications and EVC Group.

Dollar General operates 14,321 stores in 44 states.
