Instacart on Friday announced its first-ever credit card–the Instacart Mastercard from Chase. The grocery technology company and financial institution’s Mastercard will offer cash back and rewards for purchases of groceries and other items.

Card holders will also receive a one-year subscription to Instacart , the online grocery platform's loyalty program that offers free delivery on orders over a certain size, reduced service fees and credit back on eligible pickup orders. They'll also get a $100 Instacart credit at sign up.

Last month, Instacart rebranded its Instacart Express subscription program to Instacart . The frequent-user program costs $9.99 a month or $99.99 per year.

“At Instacart, we’re always looking for new ways to provide value for our customers, and now more than ever we’re helping them maximize rewards on their everyday household shopping,” Heather Rivera, Instacart's VP of strategy, corporate development and Partnerships, said in a statement.

Instacart Mastercard benefits also include: 5% cash back on Instacart purchases; 5% cash back on travel purchased through the Chase Travel Center; purchase protection travel accident insurance; travel and emergency assistance services; and no annual fee.

Retail giant Amazon launched its Visa Prime rewards card in 2017, offering 5% cash back on all Amazon purchases and smaller rewards for purchases made off the platform.
