GMDC Launches Retail Sales E-Learning Program

In collaboration with the Global Market Development Center, Colorado Springs, LearnSomething, Tallahassee, Fla., a provider of e-learning programs for retailers, is partnering with Energizer Holdings, St. Louis, to produce “Prepare to Sell” programs for retail employees. GMDC’s Keith Wypyszynski, vice president, business development and chief marketing officer, announced the availability of the programs through GMDC’s recently redesigned website during the association’s General Merchandise Marketing Conference.

ORLANDO, Fla. – In collaboration with the Global Market Development Center, Colorado Springs, LearnSomething, Tallahassee, Fla., a provider of e-learning programs for retailers, is partnering with Energizer Holdings, St. Louis, to produce “Prepare to Sell” programs for retail employees. GMDC’s Keith Wypyszynski, vice president, business development and chief marketing officer, announced the availability of the programs through GMDC’s recently redesigned website during the association’s General Merchandise Marketing Conference here this week. “At Energizer Holdings, we see the great need of improving category education at all levels: store associates, category managers and senior trade executives,” said Lou Martire, vice president of trade development. “Both the store level and category buying and merchandising level PTS programs offered will help raise the level of customer service by dramatically enhancing the in-store experience of consumers,” said Steve Roden, chief executive officer of LearnSomething.
