Chicago’s Go Grocer, a brick-and-mortar food retailer with ultrafast grocery delivery co-founded by Greg and Paul Stellatos, is expanding both in and out of Illinois.

The grocery retailer told WGB on Friday a new location in Chicago’s Hyde Park at 4800 S. Beach Dr. is set to open next month.

“We are hoping to open in Hyde Park by the end of August,” Paul Stellatos revealed.

The Chicago-based grocery-convenience store is also continuing its national expansion with plans to open a second location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at 926 W. Juneau Ave on the street level of Vim & Vigor Apartments this fall.

“We are hoping to open by Halloween,” said Stellatos.

Earlier this year, Go Grocer opened its first store in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward. The 2,200-square-foot store, located at 415 E. Menomonee St., is the grocer’s first location outside of Chicago.

The Midwest isn’t the only region Go Grocer is hoping to expand in as it is also eyeing store growth in Florida.

“We are actively negotiating locations in south Florida,” Stellatos said. “We are excited about what the future holds for Greg and I.”

Founded in 2008, Go Grocer now operates over 20 stores that feature grocery essentials, freshly made grab-and-go items, spirts, wine and beer, as well as a selection of locally sourced products.
