Grocery Outlet opened its newest location in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on July 14, bringing 30 new jobs to the community. Located at 2455 East 25th Street in Idaho Falls, the new store will be the extreme-value grocery retailer's 426th location.

The new store is expected to continue to provide big savings on name brand, high quality merchandise for local consumers during these inflationary times. Grocery Outlet stores are independently operated by local families who are committed to supporting their communities.

“We are overjoyed to be a part of the Idaho Falls community and provide big savings on quality groceries,” said Independent Operator Douglas Everett in a statement. “This partnership with Grocery Outlet gives us the ability to grow our business, create new jobs and more importantly, give back to our local community.”

At the opening held earlier this month, Everett donated $500 to Community Food Basket, whose mission is to meet the emergency food needs of families and individuals facing food-insecurity in the greater Idaho Falls area. Everett also donated $500 to Little Gym of Idaho Falls, a children's gym offering activities for kids.

Last month the Emeryville, Calif.-based Grocery Outlet announced its latest East Coast expansion with the opening of a new store in Maryland. That store marks the grocer's entrance into an eighth state.

Offering the same trusted brands as traditional grocery stores but at lower prices, Grocery Outlet said its buyers “scour the country to find the top manufacturers with excess inventory and seasonal closeouts so Grocery Outlet can offer ‘wow savings’ on thousands of name-brand products,” the retailer said in a statement.

A third-generation, family-led company founded in 1946, Grocery Outlet has locations throughout California, Idaho, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington and now Maryland. Owned by independent operators based in the communities they serve, Grocery Outlet offers fresh produce, meat, deli and dairy.
