Harps Food Stores, Inc. will host a grand opening of its newly remodeled grocery store in Morrilton, Arkansas, on May 17, the Springdale, Arkansas-based grocery retailer announced on Monday.

The 25,723-square-foot store will be located at 1626 E. Harding Street, which was formerly a Kroger supermarket, the grocer said.

The new store, which has undergone an extensive renovation, will feature an updated interior as well as online ordering and a curbside pickup option.

Shoppers at the revamped store will have access to a variety of produce, Harps Black Angus beef, a wide selection of all-natural pork and poultry, deli and signature bakery products, as well as well-stocked grocery, health and beauty care, dairy and frozen departments. The store will be open to the public daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Last month, the grocery retailer held a grand opening of its newly remodeled grocery store in Jay, Oklahoma. The 25,000-square-foot store is at 1107 South Main Street, which was formerly a Walmart.

Employee-owned Harps operates 146 stores in six states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana and Kansas. Founded by Harvard and Floy Harp in Springdale, Arkansas, in 1930, the company now employs more than 7,200 associates.
