Springdale, Arkansas-based Harps Food Stores  announced on Monday that its banner  10Box Cost-Plus Food Store will host a grand opening for its newest location in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on Oct. 18.

The Bonne Terre location at 50 Berry Road will be the 13th 10Box store throughout Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

A discount grocer, 10Box sells all items at cost and adds a 10% surcharge to cover “our operation costs and allow us a nominal profit,” Harps said in a statement.

Harps Food Stores, an employee-owned company, is slated to open two new stores at the end of the year in Brookland, Arkansas, and Chouteau, Oklahoma, pending any construction or equipment delays, the grocery retailer told WGB in an email.

Earlier this summer, the employee-owned grocer entered into a purchase agreement to buy the independent grocery retailer Janise’s Supermarket in Sunset, Louisiana.

"We are thrilled to welcome Janise's Supermarket into the Harps Food Stores family," said Kim Eskew, chairman and CEO of Harps Food Stores, Inc., in a statement regarding the acquisition. "This acquisition aligns perfectly with our strategic growth plans and allows us to expand our footprint in Louisiana. We are committed to honoring Janise's Supermarket's legacy and serving the Sunset community with the same level of excellence they have come to expect."
