Foxtrot, a hybrid corner store, cafe and delivery market, is taking more steps towards increasing its store count in the nation’s capital.

The Chicago-based retailer opened its newest location in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, situated in the trendy neighborhood of Logan Circle at 1341 14th NW.

The store, Foxtrot's sixth in the area, will offer its signature all-day café experience, along with grocery items that include local products such as Nightingale ice cream, Ceremony Coffee, Anchor Beer and Little Sesame hummus. Foxtrot currently carries more than 150 local products from over 50 makers and will continue to add new brands to its shelves, the company said.

The store widens the retailer’s brick-and-mortar footprint in the Washington, D.C./Maryland/Virginia (DMV)-area location even further. In May, Foxtrot opened a Navy Yard location at 1275 New Jersey Ave SE Suite 104, and in January, the it opened in Farragut Square at 888 17th St Northwest.

As part of the Logan Circle store’s opening celebration, Foxtrot will feature $5 pours of their private-label wines from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shoppers who download and use the Foxtrot app on opening day will receive a free tote bag.

The East Coast isn’t the only market where Foxtrot is increasing its store count. In August, Foxtrot opened its fourth store in Austin, Texas, on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin.
