Asian grocery retailer Fresh International Market will open its newest location in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday.

Fresh International Market’s new store at 10341 Moncreiffe Road will open its doors at 11 a.m.

With a mission to become the “go-to destination for global flavors in every town,” according to the grocer’s website, the Asian grocery store will also include a Paris Baguette bakery and Bao Shi Yi restaurant.

With more than eight locations nationwide, the grocery retailer, which was founded by Bowen Kou in 2011, now has stores in Florida, Texas, Illinois, Nebraska and Indiana.

Lyndhurst, New Jersey-based specialty grocer H Mart on Thursday held a grand reopening for its flagship store in Queens, New York.

The Korean grocery chain called it a “beginning and homecoming” on its website for the store at 59-18 Woodside Avenue, near 60th Street.

Last Friday, H Mart opened in Redmond, Washington, with plans for expansion in the South as well.

The Asian grocer, which now operates six locations in Texas, will add another supermarket in Dallas at 2534 Royal Lane that will span over 142,888 square feet.

“We are expanding in Dallas and bringing our passion for Asian food culture to the community,” said H Mart President Brian Kwon in a statement this past summer regarding the expansion in Texas.
