With a mission to ease its customers’ hectic holiday grocery shopping, New Seasons Market has expanded its e-commerce offerings with the launch of an all-new holiday meal reservations tool, as well as gift ordering options and beverage delivery via Instacart.

Beginning Nov. 1, New Seasons customers can shop the retailer’s online holiday menu to reserve appetizers, sides and entrees for pick up ahead of the holidays, with options including pasture-raised turkeys, house-made buttermilk mashed potatoes and locally grown cranberry sauce with clementine, as well as a selection of organic, vegan and gluten-free foods.

The reservation tool also includes several floral arrangements and baked goods, like apple cranberry crunch pie and Portland-style pumpkin cheesecake. Plus, from Nov. 5 to Nov. 21 and the month of December, New Seasons’ website will feature a live chat function for staff members to answer customer questions and offer meal tips designed to make holiday meal planning less stressful.

“We know it takes a lot of time to plan and prepare the perfect holiday meal and we want to help customers spend more of that time with friends and family,” Katie MacDonald, senior director of e-commerce for New Seasons Market, based in Portland, Ore., said in a statement. “With online meal reservations; grocery, beer and wine delivery; and e-gift card options, we hope to make it easier than ever for New Seasons Market customers to focus more of their time with loved ones over quality, local food and drinks this holiday season.”

Further expanding its partnership with Instacart, New Seasons has added more than 500 local and international beer, wine and cider varieties to its delivery options in Portland, marking Instacart’s first partner to launch adult beverage deliveries in Oregon.

In addition, New Seasons is offering an e-gift card offering via its website in which customers can order a physical gift card for postal delivery or select an e-gift card for instant email delivery.

The retailer will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, and will be providing its staff with paid time off.
