Oklahoma-based grocery chain Crest Foods, which serves the Oklahoma City metro area, will soon boast a double-digit store count as it readies to open its 10th location on Oct. 18.

The 100,000-square-foot store, located in the suburb of Edmond at 2933 N. Sooner Road, will include over 600 parking spaces and will bring 300 new jobs to area.

“We’ve had a lot of customer interest in us opening in northeast Edmond and we’re proud to bring this location to our community,” said Crest Foods Operations Executive Sam Homsey.

Along with grocery essentials, the new store will feature, fresh sushi, a hot food line with daily menus, craft beers and over 300 different wine selections. The new location will also include onsite daily butchers.

“We pride ourselves on ‘rock bottom prices’ while offering quality customer service and exceptional cleanliness,” said Homsey. “Our aisles are wide, our carts are spacious and our products are stocked daily.”

Founded in 1946 by Nick Harroz, Jr., Crest Foods is now run by his grandson, third-generation grocer Bruce Harroz.
